To enable your therapeutic experience with us to be as productive as possible there are a number of conditions that may be useful to know before you start.
We understand that there are times when even the best plans sometimes go awry and clients need to cancel or amend their appointment times. Therefore our cancellation policy states that if you do not think you can make an appointment, if you cancel more than 48 hours before the appointment there will be no charge and a new appointment will be made.
Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours of the appointment are charged at 50% of your standard session rate. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are charged at the full rate. If for some reason you miss an appointment the full rate will be charged. If you need to cancel on the day of a session, please use the mobile number provided to you when the appointment was booked.
We would appreciate payment to be made prior to each session, unless you have a prior agreement with the therapist (for example, if fees are paid by an insurance company). At present we accept payment by BACS (online banking), cash or cheques. Invoices are available if required.
It is helpful if you can attend the appointment a few minutes before your start time. If you are late for an appointment, we will try and make sure you have the full session, but this cannot always be guaranteed.
Notes taken during sessions are kept confidential and no information about you will be passed on to anyone else without your permission. Please see our data protection policy for further information.
If you have any special requirements, e.g. disabled access, please let us know so that we can ensure the most suitable rooms are made available; we will do our best to meet your requirements, however please note our main office is located on the first floor of an older building.
There is no obligation to have a ‘set number’ of sessions (unless on an insurance contract), and you can discontinue with therapy when it suits you. We do appreciate if discontinuations can be discussed with your therapist beforehand to enable us to give you a safe and satisfactory ending to your treatment.
Any feedback you have on our service is gratefully received as we strive to continue providing a quality service.
